Can AI Write Product Descriptions? (And Should You Let It)

AI can turn supplied product facts into a draft and help repeat that task across a catalog. The quality depends on the inputs, instructions, model, and review process. A fluent sentence is not proof that a specification is correct.

What still needs checking

Compare specifications with your source data. Remove claims that cannot be verified. Check measurements, compatibility, materials, and any shipping or returns statements. For another language, have someone familiar with the market review terminology and meaning.

Image input can add visual context, but it cannot reliably establish hidden specifications. Web research also needs source checking: a similar product is not necessarily the same item.

A small test before a big run
